FPA to collaborate on podcast as part of expanded NexGen effort
Financial Planning Association expects to increase offerings to younger advisers over next year.
The Financial Planning Association has started working with planner Hannah Moore to expand the reach of her podcast aimed at younger advisers, and is working on other efforts to reach new planners.
Ms. Moore, a Dallas-based financial planner, has produced more than 60 weekly episodes of the “You’re a Financial Planner, Now What?” podcast. Each episode averages 45-minutes in length and features interviews with experts and other younger advisers who share their experiences, knowledge and practical advice.
“FPA will work with FPA NexGen leaders and Ms. Moore to further develop the podcast and integrate the content throughout the association to support young financial planners and their desire to master both the practice and business of financial planning,” the group said in a release.
“This is just the beginning of an expanded next-generation effort that will be the focus at FPA in the coming year. The association will look to build on the great work of the FPA NexGen community, which has accomplished so much through their annual gathering, online community and local NexGen chapters,” it said.
