Advisers sound off on CFP dues hike
“It has been stated here and on other boards that the CFP Board has a very large sum held in cash. If this is so, then there is no need to raise dues.
It is also quite interesting watching the CFP Board spin this mess in the "press.' Maybe if they kept cutting the price per time frame down, they can make it sound so inconsequential that all us problem folk would just shut up? How much is it per hour? Per minute? Per second?
This is ridiculous. If they are so hellbent on doing an ad campaign, then allow those who want to participate pay for it.”
