Hartford Investment announces hires

Hartford Investment Management Co., the investment management arm of the Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., today announced the addition of four key hires made since September.

Michael Gray, CFA, has joined as executive vice president and global head of credit research.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gray served as managing director and global head of credit research, and as a portfolio manager for investment-grade credit at Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Charles Moon is now executive vice president and a member of the investment strategy committee.

Before joining Hartford, Mr. Moon served as a portfolio manager and co-head of investment-grade credit at OFI Institutional Asset Management.

John F. Brown was tapped as executive vice president and head of institutional sales, client service and consultant relations.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Brown worked at Fortis Investments.

Sheila Lamb is the new executive vice president and head of marketing and product.

Previously, she was a managing director a BlackRock Inc.

The Hartford, Conn-based firm had more than $125.89 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
