MassMutual appoints Crandall CEO

Roger W. Crandall has been named chief executive of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield.

Roger W. Crandall has been named chief executive of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield. He will replace Stuart H. Reese Jan. 1.
The latter will assume the role of non-executive chairman of the board, and Mr. Crandall will remain president of the company once he becomes CEO.
