Morgan Stanley loses four advisers to Ameriprise

The moves include a three-person adviser team in Marco Island, Fla., and an adviser in Roseville, Calif.

A three-person financial adviser team has left Morgan Stanley in Marco Island, Fla., for the employee channel at Ameriprise. Brad Bersh, Terrence McCreanor and Dana Messina, who operate as the Marco Island Group, managed $385 million in assets.

Mr. Bersh began his securities industry career at Edward Jones in 2000 and moved to Morgan Stanley in 2005. Mr. McCreanor, who was with PaineWebber from 1973 to 1982, joined Morgan Stanley in 2007 after 24 years with A.G. Edwards. Ms. Messina also joined Morgan Stanley in 2007 following short stints at other firms.

Separately, Craig Parker, who managed $138 million at Morgan Stanley in Roseville, Calif., has joined Ameriprise. Mr. Parker began his brokerage career in 1979 at Prudential Securities, and was with Citigroup Global Markets from 1995 to 2009, when he joined Morgan Stanley.
