Citing a growing interest in options trading, Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. today announced the launch of more-advanced options-trading tools, including screening capabilities and historical-options-price charts for its traders.

These tools will provide more technical data, such as implied volatility, and strategy profit and loss charts.

In addition, the enhancements have improved the process for multileg orders.

A recent survey by the San Francisco-based firm of more than 600 active traders found that 44% traded options regularly, the firm said in the statement.

“We continue to see growth in options trading as active traders seek new tactics to help manage risk and generation income during high levels of volatility,” Kelli Keough, vice president of Schwab’s active-trading services, said in a statement.
