InvestmentNews

UBS AG is reportedly close to an agreement to hire Bob McCann to lead its wealth management business in the Americas, according to a report by the Financial Times.

Mr. McCann left Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. of New York earlier this year after serving as head of the firm’s brokerage business.

Mr. McCann would replace Marten Hoekstra, head of the wealth management business in the Americas for Zurich, Switzerland-based UBS, the report said.

UBS spokeswoman Allison Chin declined to comment on the report.
