Adviser managing $289 million joins Stifel from Wells Fargo

A financial adviser in Texas who was managing $289 million in client assets has joined Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. from Wells Fargo Advisors.
Steve Myatt will provide advisory and investment services to private clients at the Waco, Texas office. Mr. Myatt will be joined by Hattie Ritchey, a registered client service associate, who also came from Wells Fargo.

“Steve Myatt is an outstanding adviser, and I am excited to have him on our team in Waco,” said Clint Weaver, Waco branch manager in a statement.
According to Mr. Myatt’s BrokerCheck profile, he has been with Wells Fargo Advisors for just over eight years. Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Myatt was with UBS Financial Services for more than 17 years. His BrokerCheck profile listed one customer dispute in 1999 that was settled.
Stifel has 362 branch offices, 2,171 financial advisers and 667 independent contractors according to its a June 30 SEC filing. Stifel’s advisers managed $230 billion in client assets according to its 2015 annual report.
