Advisers managing $463 million join Ameriprise ​

Six-person group in Atlanta leaves Next Financial; duo in New Jersey leaves UBS.

A six-person advisory team managing $202 million in assets at Next Financial Group in Atlanta, and a two-person team in Saddle Brook, N.J., managing $261 million at UBS, have joined Ameriprise Financial.

The Atlanta team, FMB Advisors, will be part of the franchise group of Ameriprise. FMB is led by Arthur Farr, who had been with Next Financial since 2002, and who began his career as an adviser in 1983. He is accompanied by Larry Minogue, Richard Arno, Kyle Welker, Scott Kallish and Bob Carter.

Randall and John Brewster of New Jersey, who managed $261 million, joined the Ameriprise employee channel from UBS Financial Services Inc., where they have been since 2007.
