Indie managing $245 million switches to Raymond James from Ameriprise

Hendel Wealth Management Group and its three-adviser team are based in Smithtown, N.Y.

Jeffrey Hendel, whose Hendel Wealth Management Group manages $245 million, has switched the affiliation of his business to Raymond James from Ameriprise Financial.

Mr. Hendel is joined in the move by advisers Morgan Weil, Rinaldo Crassa and Peter Halliwell, as well as the group’s four-person service and administrative team.

Hendel Wealth management is based in the Long Island suburb of Smithtown, N.Y.

Mr. Hendel had been associated with Ameriprise and a predecessor since 1997.
