Most successful financial services football stadiums
When the Kansas City Chiefs face-off against the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII, it will mark the second year in a row that the big game has been held in a stadium sponsored by a financial services company. Firms spend hundreds of millions of dollars for the opportunity to put their name on a sports arena, but which ones are getting the biggest return on their investment? Each stadium gets the same number of home games each year, so the real value comes from hosting postseason games and Super Bowls.
For this slideshow, we only looked at NFL stadiums and only counted postseason games played under the current sponsorship name. The team’s valuation was used as a tie-breaker. Data are courtesy of Statista, Pro-Football-Reference.com and Wikipedia.
Here are the financial services-sponsored stadiums ranked by their team’s postseason success.
