In 2004, Bank of America purchased 20 years of naming rights to the stadium for $140 million. Since that time, the stadium has hosted five NFL playoff games. It also hosts the annual Duke’s Mayo Bowl, an annual college football game between the Atlantic Coast Conference and either the Southeastern Conference or the Big Ten Conference. The stadium has hosted the ACC Championship game since 2017 and will do so through the 2030 season.
