Merchant Investment Management, a New York-based investment firm specializing in the financial services industry, has made a minority investment in Truvestments Capital, a Sarasota, Florida-based registered investment advisory firm managing $300 million.

The investment, terms of which were not disclosed, will help Truvestments share its Demogronomics model for investment management and client engagement on a larger scale.
